Photo of the Week: Something Warm
So for the past few days, I've been a bit of a bed hog and maybe even a little bit of a lazy arse. I'm really not proud of not showering for almost two days in a row. But, I really do think when you're not used to getting sick (I hadn't been sick in over a year) it hits you a little harder than people who are regularly sick.
I have to say I don't regret going to take photographs of aspen trees when Joe was trying to finish film in his camera. And then going out again to take photographs of the first snow of the season here in South Lake Tahoe, when I should have been in bed, warm. Instead of helping me stay sick. But, I'm finally feeling like my regular self, which is nice since my mom is coming to visit Joe and I for the first time in our new home this week.
It might be because I currently have an abnormal attraction to warmth right now, but my photograph of the week is something a little warmer than what I usually post. It's an abstract of reeds in the sun.
Stay warm loves.

Photo of the Week: Kiwi Geometric
My fine art photo of this week consists of food art. Since geometric shapes are in right now, I thought it would be neat to cut up a kiwi into triangles and do a fine art photo out of it. What do you think loves?

Photo of The Week & Heartsy
It was my birthday earlier this month and I got my favorite flowers from both my husband and mum. I like and dislike flowers all at the same time. I like them because they are pretty and brighten up a place, and I dislike them because they hardly last long. One of my favorite things to do in these situations is to photograph them. That way, they may die out, but at least I'll have photographs of them to last me a lifetime.
I did several shoots with my sunflowers. My fine art photo of the week this week is one from the set I'm still editing, which I actually really love, and hope you like.
Speaking of my photography. I'm having my second go at trying to get ZoiShop featured on Heartsy, a craft discount web Site kind of like Groupon only for people who sell on Etsy. The hardest part about getting featured is that it works through a voting process. So please, if you haven't a moment and like my photography, vote for me to be featured. It could mean getting a huge discount on my work, and lots of exposure for my shop!

Thanks loves and happy Friday!

Photo of the week: Spoons
At the beginning of this year I embarked on a 365 day photography project journey. Halfway through the year, however, I got sidetracked planning my wedding and had to stop continuing that project.
Although I hope to start over next year, meanwhile I want to start doing a fine art photo of the week post every Friday.
My first photograph of the week is one that I've been meaning to try for a while. A vintage spoons photograph that I've tinted in black and white, which I hope you like.
Besides vintage hunting this weekend, Joe and I are thinking of going kayaking or canoeing, which would be the first time we go onto the lake in our new home town.
What are your plans for the weekend loves?
