Day 4/365: Sleeping Birdie
Today I photographed one of my biggest loves: my parakeet, Corona. She's almost 6-years-old, and I'm afraid she's starting to slow down a bit, but that doesn't take away the fact that she can be pretty darn adorable. She's an uncaged, yet untrained; a true untamable bird that lives on our indoor potted tree. I caught her trying to late afternoon nap.

Day 3/365: Photo Necklaces
I'm totally stoked with how my 2011 sterling silver photo necklace collection is coming out! Today, I took some test photographs of my "Bee on Pink Flower" photo necklace now available to be purchased in my Etsy shop It's a soft cotton candy pink colored flower that meshes great with the Italian sterling silver 18" chain it hangs from.
I plan on finishing up the last of my 2011 photo necklace collection this upcoming week, and I'm so stoked about it! I will be selling my sterling silver photo necklaces for $36 each at ZoiShop on Etsy.com.

Day 2/365: Upside Down Elephants
I dedicated day two of my 365 photography project to my house plants! I wanted to use my lighting equipment to capture a more sunnier take on my plants during a California rainy day. I set up my cannon flash so it bounced off an umbrella behind a tapestry with upside down elephants on it (great for hiding the messiness of my kitchen!). I wanted a more silhouetted and softer look. I didn't think I could do much with house plants, but I ended up having a lot of fun with trying to make interesting photographs out of them. Here are some:

Day 1: Cherry Blossoms
Today is day 1 of my 365 photography project. I dedicated the day to photographing cherry blossoms. They're one of my favorite aspects of spring. So beautiful, and abundant. I love them. These are some of my favorite shots. Each distinct in its composition and tint.

Photography 365
I love photography with a deadly passion, but I haven't been taking as many pictures lately as I would like to be. Today, I have decided to take on a 365 project, where I will be photographing every day and adding it to this blog. I am after all a photographer by nature, and even the weather and side projects shouldn't stop me from doing what I love!
The following are some of my favorite photographs I have taken in the last few years I've been a photographer:
Point Reyes Light House
Portrait Session
Jackie Speire giving a speech about the health reform in San Carlos, Calif.
A Boxing Sparring Match
Portrait Session
One of my first goes with a Diana Mini Lomography camera
A Grasshopper Micro Photograph
Portrait Session
