My mum and I worked on our first recipe for our Mexican cookbook yesterday. We made a traditional Mexican dish: posole, documenting all of the ingredients and cooking instructions as we went along.
Today, for day 16 of my 365 photography project, I photographed some leftovers for the book. I finally remembered that my umbrella could be made into a shoot-through, so I took off the black, set up my flash, and ended up with a nice soft lighting set. It was a great setup for a cloudy day.
